It is used to mask everything you type into your journal in a way that you are the only one able to see your secrets! The images you upload into your journal are NOT encrypted.
Please note that the encryption key cannot be changed. It will be created once and you should save it in a secure way.

About the email
The email field is your email. Please note that it needs to be a valid email. You will receive an email from Journal Parfait with an activation link. Please follow the link to validate your email. You will be able to login without validating your email.
